  7. HSBC's new office plan in Sheffield Retail Quarter

    This is an artist's impression of HSBC's planned office in the £480m Sheffield Retail Quarter scheme.

    Building work is due to get underway early next year and should be ready in Spring 2019.

    The project was recently endorsed by planners and will be created between Wellington Street and Cambridge Street.

  8. Travel news: A57 major delays

    Police are warning of long delays because of a lorry fire on the A57.

    A lane is closed and very slow traffic at Worksop Road in both directions between Sheffield and Todwick Roundabout.

    Police are asking for help in tracing 25-year-old Lucy Grashion.

    She went missing on Friday night after being at the Lakeside Village complex.

  12. Tributes to teacher who died after falling in Sheffield classroom

    A school in Sheffield has paid tribute to one of its teachers who died following a classroom accident.

    41 year old Lynsey Laycock fell last week at Forge Valley School

    She died from medical complications after being taken to hospital.

  15. Sheffield teacher dies after classroom fall

    A teacher has died after breaking her leg in a fall in her classroom

    Lynsey Haycock, 41, a science and health teacher, fell at Forge Valley School on Thursday.

    She was taken to hospital but died the next day as a result of medical complications.

  17. Man's death sparks murder investigation in Sheffield

    A murder investigation is under way in Sheffield after the death of a man who was found with a serious head injury in the city at the end of last month. 

    The victim was discovered in Devonshire Green at about 15:45 on Wednesday 31 August. 

    He died in hospital last night.

    A post-mortem examination is due to take place later to determine the exact cause of the man's death.

  19. 'She was buried in her wedding dress'- remarkable story by cancer fundraiser

    Jackie Kenning fights back the tears as she speaks about her friend, Jo.

    Jo succumbed to cancer earlier this year aged 37, just a few days before she was due to get married.

    Jackie, from Goldthorpe, tells us she's putting on a fundraising ball in Jo's memory later this month and to raise money for charity.

    Cancer has also touched Jackie's life directly, she's had breast cancer:
