BBC Radio Leeds launches Children of the Somme

Children of the Somme will see pupils from Farnham Primary and Cullingworth Village Primary schools find out about the soldiers from India and West Yorkshire, who fought in the First World War.

They'll explore their own family history, learn music and dance to songs from the period, culminating in a joint performance later in the year. We'll be following their progress!
