  4. Lincoln woman jailed for street drinking

    Shirley Smith of The Pathways Centre in Lincoln has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison after being arrested several times for being drunk and disorderly and other public order offences.

  6. Traffic and travel: Slow traffic continues around Skellingthorpe Road

    We told you earlier that Skellingthorpe Road was closed because of a crash involving a cyclist. 

    There's still very slow traffic around the area, so avoid it if you can.

  8. 18-year-old assaulted at nightclub in Spalding

    Police believe this man may have information after an 18-year-old woman from Cambridge was attacked while at a nightclub on Westlode Street.

  11. Countess 'relieved to cycle on the flat' as she sets off from Lincolnshire

    I've been speaking to the Countess of Wessex as she continues her cycle challenge across the country.

    The challenge marks the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and covers 445 miles.

  12. Cyclist involved in serious crash on Skellingthorpe Road

    Drivers are being urged to avoid Skellingthorpe Road in Lincoln after a cyclist was struck by a car.

    It happened just after one o'clock near to the junction of with Hemswell Avenue.

    Police say the female cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.

  13. No decision reached for Humberstone Fitties holiday home owners

    Plans to extend the closed season at the Humberston Fitties chalet park in North East Lincolnshire have been deferred back to another council meeting

    Residents at the park have been told by North East Lincolnshire Council they now have to move out for four months every year instead of two months because of the risk of flooding. 

    At a meeting last night the decision to extend the closed season was sent back to cabinet.

  14. Boston boxer sets sights on title belt

    Lincolnshire's Callum Johnson has vowed to win the Commonwealth light heavyweight title. 

    Johnson will face Namibian Willbeforce Shihepo for the vacant title at Manchester Arena on Saturday.

  15. Fatal Hagworthingham motorbike crash victim named

    A man who died after a crash on the A158 in Hagworthingham last Tuesday has been named by police as 66-year-old Keith Wilson from Chesterfield.

    Mr Wilson was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary after his silver Suzuki 1200cc motorbike collided with an Isuzu pick-up. 

    Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

  17. Appeal over missing Boston Pilgrim Hospital patient

    A 50-year-old man's gone missing from a ward at Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

    Andrew Dickinson, 50, who has links to the Lincoln area, was last seen at about 08:30 this morning.

    Police say they're concerned about Mr Dickinson's welfare and are asking for anyone who has information about his whereabouts to get in touch.

    He's described as 6ft tall, heavyset, with a beard and is wearing the clothes shown in the CCTV image - a grey jumper and light coloured shorts.
