Display uncovers photographic memories of WW1 fighter pilot
Photographs taken by a British fighter pilot during World War One, which lay undeveloped for nearly 100 years, have gone on show at South Ribble Museum in Leyland.
They include aerial shots of Kent and were taken by Captain William Chambers of the Lincolnshire Regiment.
Two men suffer stab wounds in Accrington attack
Two men were found stabbed in their legs and torso after being attacked in Accrington.

The two men flagged down an ambulance near the Swan pub on Abbey Street about 21:00 last night.
They were taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are serious but not thought to be life threatening.

The leader of Blackpool Council, Simon Blackburn, believes a new agreement between the resort and Sanya in China will be beneficial for the area.
The new deal comes just a day after Prime Minister Theresa May visited China to discuss trade routes following Brexit.
Sanya is on the southern end of Hainan Island and is a popular destination for tourists.
Best man steals show at former footballer's wedding
The best man stole the show at the wedding of the former Blackpool and Fleetwood footballer Jamie Milligan.
His best man, Danny McKenzie, claimed he had forgotten his speech and set off on an his epic quest to retrieve it...

The 48-year-old has locked-in syndrome after suffering a severe stroke on 6 September 2010.
Doctors have said he will remain in hospital for the next few weeks to continue treatment.

Research suggests air pollution could contribute to progressive brain disorders
New research from Lancaster University suggests tiny particles of air pollution can get into the human brain and could contribute to the development of diseases like Alzheimer's.
The study found nanoparticles of a magnetic iron oxide called magnetite travelled through the tissue of the nose and via the nervous system.
High levels of the compound have been found in the brains of people with Alzheimer's, but it is not yet known if it causes any degenerative diseases.

Suspected of toxicity, the particles of iron oxide could conceivably contribute to diseases like Alzheimer's - though evidence for this is lacking.
The finding - described as "dreadfully shocking" by the researchers - raises a host of new questions about the health risks of air pollution.
Many studies have focused on the impact of dirty air on the lungs and heart.

Burnley striker Andre Gray has asked for a personal hearing over his misconduct charge for homophobic posts on Twitter in 2012.
Gray, 25, originally had until Wednesday, 31 August to reply to the Football Association, but was given an extension until Monday.
