  2. The home grown talent at Burghley Horse trials

    It's been a busy day today at the biggest event in Lincolnshire's equestrian calendar.

  3. Traffic and travel: A16 reopens but some problems remain in the county

    As we told you earlier the A16 has reopened after the crash this morning. 

    However as we head into the evening there are still some issues. In the north there's been an accident on the A180 westbound between the Brocklesby Interchange and Barnetby Top. 

    There's also slow traffic on the A46 northbound in Swinderby at the Halfway House Lane junction, there's roadworks in the area.

  4. Drones to be used to crack down on hare coursing

    We showed you some of the new gadgets Lincolnshire Police and surrounding forces have access for the relaunch of Operation Galileo.

    A drone was among them, here's what the police hope it'll be able to help them with:

  6. Law firm to represent A&E closure protesters

    Campaigners fighting the closure of Grantham's accident and emergency department now have legal representation.

    Law firm Leigh Day has released a statement saying it's representing the group. The A&E department is currently closed overnight. 

    Leigh Day says it believes that the decision, taken last month, was unlawful on the basis that there wasn't proper patient involvement.

  8. Lincolnshire teenager's Snowdon challenge

    A Lincolnshire teenager who was left with life-changing head injuries when he was knocked off his bike is getting ready for his latest challenge

    Ryan Smith, 19, spent almost two years in a specialist hospital following the accident in 2012. 

    The injuries left him wheelchair- bound- but tomorrow he'll attempt to scale Mount Snowdon in Wales.

  9. Traffic and travel: Problems in Nottinghamshire cause issues in Lincolnshire

    There's delays in the west of the county heading into Nottinghamshire. The A1 is closed northbound between Carlton and Tuxford.

    Recovery work is ongoing after a crane broke down. 

  10. Police vow to seize dogs used in hare-coursing

    Operation Galileo, this season's anti hare-coursing campaign, is being launched. 

    Last year Lincolnshire Police reported a 170% increase in the number of recorded incidents and say they will seize any animals being used in the crime.

  12. Lincolnshire Oscar winner to join Game of Thrones

    Perhaps Lincolnshire's most famous son, Jim Broadbent, is the latest person to join to the smash hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, according to Entertainment Weekly.

    He's been in everything from Bridget Jones to Harry Potter and now he's heading to Westeros but it's not been announced who his character will be.

  13. Over half a million visit the poppies at Lincoln Castle

    Some 508,000 people have been to see the Wave installation at Lincoln castle.

    The project which commemorates the centenary of World War One is currently on tour around the country.

  14. Burghley Horse Trials: Traffic heavy in the area

    The Horse Trials are always very popular, organisers hope 160,000 will make a trip over the four day event, but Stamford isn't exactly the biggest place in the world so the roads are fairly busy.

    There's heavy traffic on the B1443 Barnack Road so allow yourself some extra time if you're passing through the area.

  15. Eight in Lincolnshire 'died waiting for organs'

    Eight people in Lincolnshire died waiting for an organ transplant last year. 

    That's according to new figures out today from NHS Blood and Transplant which also say four out of ten families refuse to donate relative's organs when asked.

    A week-long campaign is being launched to encourage more people consider donating their organs after their deaths.
