When Chelsea sold David Luiz the first time around I thought that was a fantastic deal. I find it astonishing that they’re buying him back. It is like the reverse-Pogba situation with it being for less money.
He has remained a popular figure with Chelsea fans and a favourite of owner Roman Abramovich as Luiz was part of that 2012 Champions League-winning team.
I’m really interested to see how and where he plays under Conte, who is a great disciplinarian. Luiz is a great talent but is not disciplined. I often watch him and think he’s an accident waiting to happen.

Robbie Keane ended his Republic of Ireland career in style by netting in a 4-0 friendly win over Oman.
The first-half strike was typical Keane, with an audacious flick and volley to bring up his 68th goal to go level with German legend Gerd Muller.
Keane received a rousing ovation when he was substituted after 56 minutes on his 146th and last Republic appearance.
Robbie Brady and Jonathan Walters (2) also scored in the warm-up before the World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
The window in Scotland
It has been a busy little day around Scotland, although it proved to be an unusually quiet one at Celtic Park.
They were frustrated in attempts to ship defenders Jozo Simunovic and Efe Ambrose out the club, but wide man Saidy Janko did leave on loan to Barnsley.
Rangers also had a quiet one, with central defender Philippe Senderos their only addition.
Motherwell eventually yielded to Marvin Johnson's wish to leave and the winger was sold to Oxford United.
Meanwhile, Championship outfit Dundee United withstood competition from Scottish Premiership clubs to sign Tony Andreu on loan from Norwich City, the midfielder who left Hamilton Accies for the Canaries for £1m.
What has happened at Manchester City during this transfer window shows that Pep Guardiola is ruthless and very single-minded.
Joe Hart was one of the most influential and popular players but Guardiola has made it clear he’s not his man and neither are Nasri, Mangala and Bony. Players that don’t fit his style – he has just got rid of.
He said last week that he is there to make decisions and City have facilitated it. He’s the man they’ve almost built the empire for.
City are going to be paying a lot of money for players not to play for them this season.

The Optimist:The amount of players who have rejected Everton this window is unreal.
Leicester have a had good transfer window in terms of their perception. They broke their own transfer record a couple of times and showed they are not going away.
Leicester have shown real ambition to build on the momentum of winning the title. They are getting big players in and signing up current players on big contracts. They are now a very ambitious forward-looking club. I’m impressed with what they’ve done this summer.
Strangely I also think Newcastle have had a good transfer window. Selling Wijnaldum and Sissoko for a combined £55m counts as very good business.

It's the industry and marketplace we are in and each competitor will have a different strategy, one that I'm sure all other chairmen and chief executives will admit will change day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute.
"It's great fun at times, it's horribly stressful at others. Managers disagree with owners and vice versa, signings will disappoint and others will transform clubs. Either way, it's now becoming one of the most exciting days in the football calendar without a ball being kicked. Football clearly is a business now more than ever."
