The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thundery showers on Saturday and overnight into Sunday morning.
But Ian Fergusson has his own warning for people who are out and about in the West country this weekend.

Region's pop-up brothels lead to Romanian arrests
Police have detained 16 people in Romania in connection with human trafficking to the South West.
Investigations were led by the South West Organised Crime Unit because of the number of "pop-up brothels" appearing across Avon and Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
During the raids more than £9,000 was found in cash and officers interviewed more than 40 potential victims.
Casualty celebrates 30 years since West country start
After more than 1,000 episodes. and some dramatic storylines, a special 30th birthday episode of Casualty will be aired on the BBC tomorrow night.
It looks a bit different than it did in 1986, but the idea for the programme came from the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
And it was the local landmarks and local people involved who made Casualty what it is today.
Woman and two children hit by car near holiday park
A woman and two young children have been seriously injured after they were hit by a car near a holiday park at Brean Sands in Somerset earlier this evening.
The woman has been airlifted to Southmead Hospital and the two children have been airlifted to Bristol Children's Hospital.
A number of roads have been closed, including Coast Road, South Road, Coat Road and Hurn Lane.

Police action over taxi driver racial abuse claims
Black and ethnic minority taxi drivers in Bristol say they've experienced a big rise in racial abuse.
Earlier the police mounted an operation at Bristol Temple Meads railway station to reassure drivers they will investigate such incidents if victims come forward.
Eight cases of racial abuse have been dealt with by the group Stand Against Racism and Inequality (SARI) since April, compared with 11 for the whole of last year.
