The principal of a Lincolnshire academy trust which experimented with shorter school summer holidays has stepped down, it's just been revealed.
Sharron Close was in charge of the Tall Oaks Academy Trust, which runs White's Wood, Castle Wood and Mercer's Wood primary academies in Gainsborough.

The trust has experimented with shorter summer holidays and longer half-term breaks in recent years, which were controversial with some parents.
The trust's interim executive head Sue Wilson said today: "We wish her all the best and thank her for her efforts in leading the Trust.
"We are currently recruiting for an Executive Headteacher but until that happens we have the team in place to ensure the continued smooth running of the Trust. We can assure parents that this won't affect the education of their children.”
A 66-year-old motorcyclist who was involved in a collision on the A158 in Lincolnshire has died.
Police say the man from Chesterfield - who has not been named - was riding his silver Suzuki 1200cc motorbike towards Skegness when the crash happened at Hagworthingham on Tuesday, 13 September.
Sergeant Chris Dennett, from the Lincolnshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "I am particularly keen to speak to a small group of motorcyclists who witnesses tell me were also riding in the area.
"I would stress the motorcyclists are simply thought to have witnessed the collision and are not involved in it."
Two high value watches stolen in burglary
This pair of watches were taken in a burglary in North Lincolnshire yesterday along with other jewellery.
Police say all the pieces taken have a "high sentimental and monetary value" and have appealed for help to find them.
The raid happened at a house in Luddington between 07.15 and 10.15. If you know anything, call the police on 101.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: "Specially trained prison staff resolved an incident involving a number of prisoners on a wing at HMP Lincoln.
"We are absolutely clear that prisoners who behave in this way will be punished and could spend significantly longer behind bars.
"Those suspected of being actively involved have been removed from the prison and are subject to an ongoing police investigation."

A visit by East Lindsey Food Safety Officers found dirty surfaces, rusty equipment and staff not wearing protective clothing.
Mohammed Ejaz, the owner of Oceana on Skegness Road in Ingoldmells, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Magistrates' Court yesterday.
He was fined £1,750 and ordered to pay £4,676 in costs, plus a victim surcharge of £25.

Fears for future of Sutterton green burial site
A green burial site in Lincolnshire has become so overgrown that families are struggling to find their loved ones' plots.
Some have had to resort to marking the location of graves with posts sticking out of the undergrowth...
Sutterton Natural Burial Ground in Lincolnshire has been neglected since it was repossessed in January.
The woodland site is in the grounds of the Grade II-listed Thatched Cottage pub, which was bought at auction by an unknown buyer earlier this month.
Relatives of the 27 people buried there are keen to know how it will be maintained in future.

Developers have revealed that 850 new homes could be built on the outskirts of Grimsby.
Plans to develop land at Scartho Top have been revealed today.
The Brocklesby Estate and housing developer Cyden Homes have joined forces to draw up the plans.
Their proposal also includes a pub, a new school and a nursery.

Paralympic gold medallist Sophie Wells will return home today after being part of a record-breaking games in Rio.
A total of 64 golds were won by Paralympic GB, including a hat-trick of medals for the Lincolnshire horse rider.
You can see Sophie in the picture above, first on the left holding her two gold medals and one silver.
The athletes flew into Heathrow this morning.
New evening health service 'not good enough' say patients

A new evening walk-in centre opened its doors in Grantham for the first time last night.
It's after Grantham Hospital's overnight A&E was closed due to a shortage of doctors.
The centre will be open for three months and will support patients with minor illnesses and injuries.
But I was at the hospital last night and people at the clinic told me the service isn't enough to replace A&E.
The trust says it's drawing up plans for future provision. We could hear more on that by as early as next month.
