Corbyn: I won't intervene in constituency selections

Two of Cumbria's Labour MPs may be about to fight a game of electoral musical chairs because of constituency boundary changes.
Jamie Reed in Copeland and Sue Hayman in Workington will be the most radically-affected by the changes, which will reduce the number of seats in Cumbria from six to five.
One of the two seats, according to these predictions, would be vulnerable to a Conservative takeover, which could mean the two west Cumbrian MPs depend very much on local party members to continue their political careers.
Jamie Reed resigned his shadow ministry minutes after Mr Corbyn became party leader, and has since fought a vigorous battle over social networks with the leader's supporters.
