Pence cancels
Republican vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence has cancelled a fundraising event in Ocean County, New Jersey, that was supposed to be held on Monday, according to US media.
Trump said in tonight's debate that he disagreed with a comment made about Russia by his running mate during the VP debate last week.
Pence on Saturday condemned the video of Trump making sexist remarks about women, saying "I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them".
Scores of Republicans have deserted Trump after those remarks came to light.
But Pence did tweet-congratulate his boss following the debate saying: "Proud to stand with you as we Make America Great Again."
Ken Bone, who asked a technical question about energy policy, has found fame on Twitter.
His question was: "What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs, while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimizing job loss for fossil power plant workers?"
The Khan family, who were the subject of repeated attacks by Trump after they spoke out against him during the Democratic convention, have reacted to the Republican nominee's comment tonight calling their son a hero. Captain Khan was killed in Iraq by a suicide bomber in 2004.
Of course, there are a few less scientific surveys out there that supporters like to flood to crown their candidate as the true winner - like this Drudge poll:
