How is the leaderboard looking after Week One?

And so two nights of truly fab-u-lous dancing has come to a close. While we have to wait severrrrn days until the next instalment of glitter, let’s look back at the first two live shows of Strictly 2016. Here’s how the leaderboard is looking:

On Friday night, six celebs kicked the competition off in style. Judge Rinder and Oksana delivered an illegally good Cha Cha, earning a score of 25, while Greg and Natalie performed a jumping Jive that received 27 points from the Judges.

With nine couples left to strut their stuff on the dancefloor, Saturday promised to be a total showstopper. And it was…

Louise and Kevin brought Saturday night alive with their Jive that floated Len’s boat and achieved a score of 31. Danny and Oti matched this score with a sensational Cha Cha.

Unfortunately nerves got in the way for Ed, whose Waltz failed to impress the Judges and was awarded 21 – the lowest score of the two nights.

It was, however, Daisy and Aljaz who were awarded the highest score of Week One for their stunning Waltz (and even earned the first nine of the series from Len).

What did you make of the first dances of our 15 Strictly stars? Who floated your boat and who do you think needs to get back to the training room ASAP?

Can't wait until next week? You can re-live every shake and shimmy from Week 1, Show 1 and Week 2: Show 2 on BBC iPlayer.
