  1. Goodbye: Five things we learned today

    That's Thursday finished, just Friday and then it's the weekend. Lincolnshire Live will return from 08:00 tomorrow but for now I'll leave you with five things we've learned today.

    1. MP for Grantham says the town's A&E will reopen overnight... but we don't know exactly when.
    2. You'll soon be able to pick up a bottle of Lincolnshire wine in a major supermarket.
    3. The Bomber Command Memorial's spire has won a national award.
    4. There's a poem about Lincolnshire for National Poetry day... and of course it's about sausages.
    5. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon are no match for our Pudsey Peaks team.

  2. Grimsby boxer gets ready for title fight

    Grimsby's lightweight title challenger Kevin Hooper is weighing in this afternoon ahead of his fight with Scotty Cardle in Glasgow tomorrow. 

    It's Hoopers' first attempt at winning the Lonsdale belt having defended his English title earlier in the year.

  3. Police on the look out for burglars in North Lincolnshire

    Police patrols have been stepped up in a number of North Lincolnshire villages after 24 burglaries have been reported since the beginning of August.

    The incidents happened in the Isle of Axholme area and more recently in the Epworth and Garthorpe areas.

    You're being asked to report anything suspicious.

  4. UKIP don't deny Mike Hookem left meeting with Steven Woolfe

    UKIP did not deny Mike Hookem, one of the MEPs who's constituency includes North and North East Lincolnshire, left the room with Steven Woolfe. 

    It followed heated verbal exchanges among MEPs during a meeting in the European Parliament. 

    The spokesman told the BBC that the events that followed were not witnessed by MEPs.

  5. Grantham MP promises that A&E department will reopen overnight

    The MP for Grantham Nick Boles says he's determined that Grantham A&E will reopen overnight.

    It's been closed from 18:30 since August for a three month trial because of a lack of staff. 

    Mr Boles says while he can't guarantee it will open by the time the trial period ends, this won't be a permanent measure for the department.

  7. Appeal after man attacked in Grimsby

    A 25-year-old man from Grimsby has been attacked suffering cuts and bruising to his head. 

    The man was assaulted as he walked in the Grimsby town centre along Albert Street shortly before midnight on the 1 October. 

    Police are appealing for witnesses.

  8. Major supermarket to stock Lincolnshire wine

    The wine is flowing at a Lincolnshire vineyard after Waitrose has started stocking their wines.

    The harvest is in full swing at Somerby Vineyard, between Caistor and Brigg.

  9. Hospital bosses still can't say if Grantham A&E will open overnight

    Hospital managers say they're still unable to say whether Grantham's A&E will reopen overnight. 

    In August the decision was taken to close the doors at 18:30 because of a lack of doctors. Today the town's MP Nick Boles met with hospital trust executives.

    Afterwards Jan Sobieraj, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire's hospitals trust, told BBC Radio Lincolnshire that they're still working hard on recruitment.

  10. Architecture award for Bomber Command Memorial spire

  14. Former Scunthorpe United winger dies

    Scunthorpe United have confirmed the former winger John 'Merfyn' Jones has died at the age of 85. 

    He played 263 times for the Iron between 1953 and 1959.

  15. Memorial for Cold War Vulcan crew

    East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

    A memorial is taking place today to commemorate an air crash in Lincolnshire.

    Vulcan bombers were the front line of the country's nuclear deterrent during the Cold War. 

    One of the planes crashed at RAF Coningsby in 1964, killing all five of the crew. 

    Family members are gathering at East Kirby's Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre for the unveiling of a plaque in their memory.

  16. Woman's bag snatched in Sainsburys' car park

    A man in his 30s has been arrested for a robbery in Lincolnshire. 

    The incident happened in Sainsbury's car park on London Road in Grantham around 09:00 yesterday.

    Police say the suspect took a woman's handbag before making off in a vehicle. 

     He has been released on police bail but the bag is still missing. 

  17. A poem for Lincolnshire
