Empire of the Sun go full metal in new track
Not really, its another slice of deliciously sunny psych-pop from Luke Steele and Nicholas Littlemore from their forthcoming album Two Vines, due out at the end of this month.
Never one to do whatever everyone else is doing, the brilliant Chance the Rapper has shared a video for How Great from his Coloring Book mixtape, shot on an iPhone and featuring his cousin and a live female choir.
Interestingly he has ordered fans to lock their screens and watch it vertically.

Flaming Lips announce unpronounceable new album for 2017

The Flaming Lips, led by the wonderfully weird Wayne Coyne (above), have announced a new album and we defy you to pronounce it correctly.
Oczy Mlody is due out on 13 January and its 12 tracks include titles like Galaxy I Sink, There Should Be Unicorns and, our favourite, Listening to the Frogs with Demon Eyes.
The Castle is the lead single and here is a teaser:
In what could be a pop battle the likes of which we haven't seen since the days of Oasis and Blur, Pointless's Alexander Armstrong - about to release his second album - faces a fight for dominance from fellow TV quiz show host Bradley Walsh.
Cheeky chappie Walsh, who presents The Chase, has just announced his debut release Chasing Dreams (do you see what they did there?).
According to his publicists, Brad is "an old-school crooner" and has compiled a tracklist of "his favourite swing classics".
"I grew up listening to legends such as Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Tony Bennett," he said.
"To have the opportunity to record some of the greatest songs and arrangements ever written alongside a fifty-four piece orchestra and band is absolutely thrilling."
Katie Melua on working with a Georgian women's choir

Singer-songwriter Katie Melua has been speaking to Radio 3's In Tune about working with the Gori Women's Choir from her homeland of Georgia.
She told presenter Sean Rafferty about their rehearsals in a "post apocalyptic Southbank Centre" and ending her creative relationship with producer Mike Batt.

They've released the music video to their fierce latest single Shout Out To My Ex, a break-up song which goes easy on the melancholy and hard on the rage.
The video was shot in Almeria, Spain and the track is the first single to be taken from their upcoming fourth album, Glory Days which is out on 18 November.
Alexander Armstrong covers Kygo. Yes, you just read that...

Pointless host Alexander Armstrong released his debut album earlier this year - he's a classically trained singer dontchaknow? - but his latest release is a bit weird: He has covered Kygo's Firestone.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Xander said: "I love that Kygo song. Rob Dickens, my manager, came up with the idea and said 'why don't we?' as we wanted to experiment with the music orchestrally.
"I haven't spoken to Kygo, no. If I ever run into him I'll play it to him."
Solange Knowles says the positive reaction to her latest album A Seat At the Table has been "overwhelming".
The album, released earlier this month, reflects the black American experience and has been the subject of incredibly positive reviews.
The singer, whose big sister is, of course, Beyonce told Annie Mac she had recorded parts of the album in Louisiana, close to her grandparents' home.
The album features snippets of her parents speaking about racism and the prejudice they have encountered in their lives.
"I'm a big believer of knowing where you're from to understand where you're going and I wanted to immerse myself in the place where it really all started," Solange said, as Annie made the album her Hottest Record.

Busted unveil performance video for Easy
Busted continue their long-awaited comeback with Easy, the second track from their forthcoming album Night Driver, due out next month.
Recorded at the Pool Studios in south London, the piano-led track features James Bourne taking the initial lead on vocals, before additions from Charlie and Mat. It's definitely going to be a mobile-lights-in-the-air moment for their live shows.

Janet Jackson enjoys streaming surge, thanks to The Donald

We're not sure that Janet Jackson looks at Donald Trump with any degree of gratitude but, nevertheless, he is responsible for a spike in streaming for her track Nasty.
Spotify says the surge came after he made a dismissive comment about fellow US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during their final debate earlier this week.
"Such a nasty woman," he was heard to have uttered after she made a crack about him not paying federal taxes.
Janet, for the record, should be called Ms Jackson if you're nasty.
Frank Iero releases new song following horror crash in Australia

In last week's Music News, we we told you about the horrific crash involving former My Chemical Romance member Frank Iero and his new band in Australia.
The band have since cancelled the remainder of their tour dates and have thanked fans for their messages of support.
Now, Iero has announced a new song via an Instagram message to his fans.
He also refers to the accident which saw the band's tour bus hit by another bus, saying: "It's strange how in an instant everything can change", adding: "I know none of us will ever be the same again".
Michael Kiwanuka's video for Black Man in a White World, from his Mercury-nominated album Love & Hate was named best pop video at the UK Music Video awards on Thursday night.
Coldplay's trippy Up & Up won best rock/indie video while Jamie xx's spooky Gosh - filmed in an abandoned Chinese city - won best alternative video and The Chemical Brothers ft Beck's Wide Open picked up the award for best dance video.

Massive Attack won the Best Video Artist award for their output of work including Voodoo In My Blood, starring Rosamund Pike – which was also the most nominated video at this year’s UK MVAs.
Starting off with some good news for Prince fans still reeling from the news of his death earlier this year: A new greatest hits album and a deluxe edition of Purple Rain, both featuring unreleased songs from his "vault", are on the way.
One track, the piano-led Moonbeam Levels, was recorded during sessions for the album 1999 but was dropped from the final tracklisting.
It will feature on the hits compilation Prince 4Ever next month with the re-release of Purple Rain featuring an entire disc of outtakes.
