Fourth man arrested after incident at Hull KR

A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the brawl on the pitch after Hull KR’s clash against Salford on Saturday.
A 19-year-old man handed himself in and was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Humberside Police have arrested three people in connection with the incident but are still encouraging others to come forward.

Missing Scunthorpe teenager Charlie Slater has been found is receiving appropriate medical care.

A teenager has been jailed for life after stabbing a man to death in Hull.
Agustin Sula, 18, stabbed Mateusz Szleper seven times, piercing his heart and lungs in revenge for a "perceived slight" by one of the victim's friends.
Sula came to Hull in 2014 from Albania as a fugitive after being convicted of theft and sentenced to six months imprisonment in his own country.

Concern grows for missing teenager

Scunthorpe teenager Charlie Slater has been missing since this morning, police are concerned due to his potentially life-threatening medical condition.
He was last seen at The Lawrence Academy, Doncaster Road. He's believed to have changed out of his school uniform and may now be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark top.
He is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, with short dark brown hair and slim build.

Some charities in Hull beleive that homelessness is on the rise in the city.
Hull City Council has started early discussions in order to develop a new strategy for dealing with the issue, their current plan was due to expire this year.
Andrew Smith from the Hull Homeless Community Project, says more people are coming from other busier cities because they get less hassle.

A team of experts will fly to South Georgia tomorrow to inspect an abandoned ship built in Beverley in 1906.
The Viola played a role in World War One and is believed to be one of the only surviving ships of her kind.
Lead marine consultant John Simpson says the vessel is of international maritime significance and that their aim is to one day bring her back to Hull.
British Cycling gives go-ahead for closed road circuit

Good news for cycling fans today.
Hull's long-time ambition to bring a dedicated road racing circuit to the city has taken a leap forward.
Last month Hull City Council confirmed that they would match-fund the project and all they needed was the go-ahead on funding from British Cycling.
Well that funding, a grant of £375,000 has been confirmed
The land next to Ennerdale Leisure Centre in north Hull can now come to fruition, improving access to cycling for all levels.

Fish and chip shops encouraged to support sustainable fishing

Fish and chip shops across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire are being asked to agree to a new code of practice which supports sustainable fishing.
The Marine Stewardship Council aims to protect fish stocks for the future, but only ten restaurants have signed up to the MSC code.
I visited one chippy in Bridlington that have signed up to the scheme and spoke to George Clark from the Marine Stewardship Council.

Police and Crime Commissioner agrees sale of former HQ

Keith Hunter, the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner has agreed the sale of the former Queens Gardens Police Station in Hull city centre.
Its not been used after services were transferred to a new police station on Clough Road in the city.
An offer of £1.4m was accepted from a locally-based developer and a planning application is expected to be submitted later this month.
Mr Hunter says the money made from the sale will be invested in policing infrastructure.
