Now people are flocking to Easington in East Yorkshire to catch a glimpse of the Siberian Accentor.
The bird, which is actually a lot smaller than it sounds, is usually found in South East Asia and this is the first time it's been seen on the UK mainland.

Four new adventures have been published to mark the 90th anniversary of the first Winnie-the-Pooh book, along with the introduction of a new character.

Another local MP rejoins the fold
Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin will also be returning to Labour's front bench as an Opposition Whip.
Mr Dakin was previously Shadow Minister for Schools under Jeremy Corbyn but resigned in the summer.

No partying at Cleethorpes Pier this Christmas

Some people who had their Christmas parties and weddings booked at Cleethorpes Pier have had them cancelled.
The refurbished Victorian pleasure pier, recently voted the best in the country, is currently up for sale.
It's owner, Brian Huxford, has told Radio Humberside he had to take the decision to cancel events because whoever buys it might not want to put on weddings or parties.

Lights festival in Grimsby this weekend
Grimsby's East Marsh flats will be the setting for a spectacular lights show on Saturday night
Organisers say the Lightworks media festival will light up the night sky and feature and large-scale projections onto the side of the iconic towers.
The event will be free to the public.

Plans for Hull's first public square in 100 years revealed
King Edward Square will be Hull city centre's first new public square since Queen Victoria Square in the late 1890s.
The new square will be at the junction where King Edward St and Jameson St meet, and will be an open space for events, street performers and a place for people to relax.

A man has been jailed for 16 years after being found guilty of trying bring more than £3 million worth of cocaine into England through Immingham Dock.
45-year-old Philip Green, a lorry driver from near Blackpool, was stopped by Border Force officers as he arrived on a ferry from Denmark in April last year.
There were 30 packages of drugs concealed under a bunk bed in his cabin.

The body was discovered yesterday morning and Humberside Police say they believe the man was in his 40s.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but officers say the death isn't being treated as suspicious.

Hull fair's almost over for an another year
It's been another busy year for one Europe's largest funfairs in Hull.
Thousands of people have once again descended on Walton Street car park for the thrilling rides and traditional fairground food.
The fair ends at midnight tomorrow, so there's still time for a toffee apple or two.

Here's the CCTV video showing the moment Mohammad Abdullah from Scunthorpe ran over two pedestrians.
Judge Peter Kelson QC told Abdullah, who earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent: "You have lived, effectively, a law-abiding, constructive life as a family man but for 15 seconds of your life when you did this mad thing in a terrible temper."
Abdullah, who was said to have shown genuine remorse, was also banned from driving for eight years at Grimsby Crown Court.
