Witness appeal over trouble in York city centre
David Ward
BBC Local Live, York
Police are reporting there were problems in York on Saturday before the York v Chester match:
A Sunday bus service which provides a vital link in one of the most rural parts of North Yorkshire has been saved thanks to the generosity of people from around the world.
The No. 856, also known as the Wensleydale Flier, was to be withdrawn because of a funding crisis.
But now the service, which runs four times each Sunday and links Northallerton, Bedale, Leyburn and Hawes, is set to stay after the Friends of Dalesbus managed to raise over £6,000 through an online campaign.

Niamh Mirfield is just 13, but she's through to the final of a competition to find the best song of the year from a musician who hasn't got a recording contract or record deal.
The Best of British competition is an open-age competition, so she's up against people with far more experience than her.
