The secret is out for many Indian women

Many Indian women has been queueing for days to cash in their secret stash of money. They've been trying to change the notes to new ones after the government decided to withdraw five-hundred and one-thousand rupee banknotes from circulation as part of an anti-corruption drive. Shivaani Kohok, a presenter for BBC Hindi, told us why Indian women keep so much cash at home.
