An 83-year-old woman with a broken hip waited for an ambulance for three hours in the rain, her son has told the BBC.

A man has been jailed for 16 years after being found guilty of trying bring more than £3 million worth of cocaine into England through Immingham Dock. 

45-year-old Philip Green, a lorry driver from near Blackpool, was stopped by Border Force officers as he arrived on a ferry from Denmark in April last year. 

There were 30 packages of drugs concealed under a bunk bed in his cabin.

The nation's first Ice rink without ice opens in Lincolnshire today. 

Sk8Z in Gainsborough is the first in the country to use a new technology which recreates the feeling of skating on ice.

A Lincoln man slapped his pregnant girlfriend and his excuse was he said she was trying to drink alcohol.

Dylan Doran, 33, had a bail condition not to contact the woman but the pair arranged to meet because they wanted to celebrate the news of her pregnancy.

It's been two weeks since King Harold's men marched through Lincolnshire on their way to battle.

Well now they've made it to Battle Abbey in East Sussex! Built on the site of the famous Battle of Hastings.

The group of re-enactors have been following the route the real army took 950 years ago - to mark the battle of Hastings.

Humberside Police have confirmed that a man's been charged in connection with a knife incident near a Grimsby school yesterday. 

Woodlands School kept children inside for a while after reports of a man carrying a weapon near the school.

Mohammad Abdullah, 30, of Mulgrave Street has been jailed for six years for deliberately hitting two people with his car.

His victims, Mark Thompson and Kevin Morson, were left with life changing injuries as a result of the incident.  

It happened after Abdullah got into an argument with the two victims after swerving past them earlier.

Abdullah was also banned from driving for eight years.  

A man convicted of raping and sexually abusing two girls has been jailed for 24 years at Lincoln Crown Court.

52-year old Stephen Boyd, of Rivehall Avenue, Welton, near Lincoln was found guilty by a jury of a total of 16 charges including rape and sexual activity with a child.

Recorder Peter Cooke, passing sentence,  said there was an "horrific nature" to the offences committed by Boyd and described his behaviour as "grotesque and manipulative".

The court heard how both victims had been deeply affected psychologically by what happened.

A scaffolder whose years of experience have seen him scaling the turrets of Lincoln Cathedral has been honoured with a stone carving tribute.

Stan Haw has been recognised as the longest serving employee of Lincoln construction company Simons – 43 years and counting.

The medical director of East Midlands Ambulance Service has apologised after a woman with dementia had to wait hours for an ambulance after falling in Grantham.

It's claimed Hazel Baines who has dementia - waited nearly three hours in the rain for an ambulance after breaking her hip. She then waited a further three hours in a queue of ambulances at A&E.

Bob Winter says he's sorry it happened and the delay was down to high demand and lack of resources.

Detectives have released CCTV stills of two women they would like to speak to following a burglary at the Shake Shack, St Peter’s Avenue, Cleethorpes between 1.20am and 1.30am on Friday 7 October.
