    Dry with long clear periods developing. A minimum temperature tomorrow of about 3C (37F) with a touch of ground frost possible and some fog patches.

    Any fog patches clearing tomorrow, then a dry and much brighter day expected with long spells of sunshine. Maximum temperature 12C (54F).

  6. Travel update: Delays on Armley Road in Leeds

    There's currently queuing traffic on the A647 Armley Road in both directions in Leeds at the Pickering Street junction in the roadworks area. 

    Congestion to Armley Gyratory and to the Redcote Lane junction.

  7. Watch: The Hepworth prize for sculpture

    Thirty thousand pounds is up for grabs in Wakefield for a world class sculptor. 

    The Hepworth Gallery is offering a sculpture prize to celebrate its fifth birthday. They hope it will become as well known as the Turner Prize. 

    Four artists have been shortlisted for the inaugural prize, as Cathy Killick reports.

  10. Greg Minikin: Castleford Tigers centre signs two-year contract extension

    Castleford Tigers centre Greg Minikin has signed a two-year contract extension.

    The 21-year-old won the club's player of the year award in 2016 after joining from York City Knights.

    Minikin has scored six tries in 16 appearances and will remain at Wheldon Road until the end of the 2019 season.

  11. Man wanted for assault and racial abuse in Bradford

    Police want to speak to this man after a passenger was assaulted and a member of staff at Bradford Forster Square Station racially abused.

    A man hit a member of the public before loitering in the station hall, then hurled racist abuse at a staff member doing ticket checks.

    The incident took place just after 17:15 on Monday 10 August at the station.

  12. Robbers steal car from Leeds family at knifepoint

  13. TransPennine Express alters timetable for autumn

    A number of train services across Yorkshire are being altered in an attempt to combat seasonal delays.
