    Kat Harbourne

    BBC Local Live, Sheffield

Thanks for joining us today and we'll be back at 08:00 on Tuesday.

In the meantime, let's look back at five things we didn't know when we woke up this morning...

    1. An officer who was present at the 1984 "Battle of Orgreave" says police had been told to use "as much force as possible" against miners.
    2. Kerry Needham says she now believes her missing son Ben is dead. South Yorkshire Police are now beginning a third week of digging on the island of Kos in an effort to find his body.
    3. Former Labour leader and Doncaster MP Ed Miliband has called for a Commons vote on any Brexit deal.
    4. Terrorism Police are investigating malicious posts on social media concerning McAuley Catholic High School in Cantley, Doncaster.
    5. And....step into the spotlight Sheffield theatres! Sheffield and South Yorkshire have dominated at this year's UK Theatre awards.

Before I go, I wanted to share this stunning photo of Sheffield that John uploaded onto the BBC Weather Watchers website.

  3. Police investigate threat at a Doncaster school

Pupils and parents at McAuley High School in Cantley have been advised to report "anything of concern" as terror police investigate potentially malicious posts on social media.

A spokesman says the school will remain open but there would be a continued police presence as the investigation into the origin of the posts continues

The school is urging pupils and parents not to reply to any unsolicited emails or social media.

Footballer Ched Evans has told a court a woman who has accused him of rape was not too drunk to consent and was "enjoying herself".

    Ched Evans

Mr Evans, 27, was found guilty of rape at Caernarfon Crown Court in 2012, but his conviction was quashed in April.

  10. Front bench role for Sheffield MP

Labour's Paul Blomfield has vowed to hold the government to account on the negotiations for Britain's departure from the European Union.

  16. Sheffield Occupational Therapist gets royal seal of approval

As a result, a number of practical measures were introduced for tasks that most of us take for granted such as eating, gripping utensils and cooking.

Examples included adapting cutlery with sponge hair rollers so that they were easier to grip and using a spiked vegetable board to peel vegetables.
