Aircraft spotters' cafe flying high after RAF Waddington news
Alex Rhodes
BBC Lincolnshire Live
More now on the re-opening of RAF Waddington next week.
Lincolnshire has always been the place to be if you're into aviation and for a long time the WAVE cafe opposite RAF Waddington offered some of the best views of aircraft taking off and landing.
However, work to extend the runway has meant there hasn't been a lot to see for a couple of years and that's had a big impact on the cafe.
Owner Joe Robinson says there's been more activity today and he hopes it's the start of things to come:
Quote Message: The day after the last aircraft went we lost 75% of trade and that's been the same for the last 26 months, so now things will hopefully start to pick up and we can start to smile again." from Joe Robinson WAVE Cafe

Here's your weather forecast for this evening
Paul Hudson
Weather presenter, BBC Look North
Staying fairly dry tonight but thick cloud means you'll struggle to get a good look at the moon, "super" or otherwise.
The cloud cover means it'll stay quite mild though, highs of 12C with a steady wind coming from the west.
Karen Roe unit manager said: “This is a really significant piece of equipment for our department as we use it to investigate our patients and carry out our work."

Well now they've also told us that they're making final preparations to fully reopen next week.
Work began to rebuild and lengthen the runway two years ago as part of a £35m project and there's been a phased increase in aircraft since June.
