The scores before the Cha Cha challenge
Our six couples returned victorious from Blackpool and were eager to show they have what it takes to make it to Musicals Week. Week Ten proved true to its name with the '10' paddle making an appearance for three of our dynamic duos.
Danny and Oti opened the show with an energetic Samba that Bruno likened to a "Pagan mating ritual." Oo-er. The routine impressed the Judges so much they unanimously awarded it 40. This was the first Samba to have ever been awarded a perfect score on the show. Danny remains the only celebrity so far to be awarded top marks in 2016.
Ed Balls performed "a pouty and stumpy" Tango according to Craig. With Bruno adding that Ed's dancing was like "junk food" and that "you can't help wanting more." With a score of 23, and a place at the bottom of the board, Ed will be craving votes more than ever.

But Week Ten wasn't over yet, the first Strictly Cha Cha Challenge had the potential to shake up the Leaderboard.
The Results for the Cha Cha Challenge were:
- Louise and Kevin: 1st
- Danny and Oti: 2nd
- Ore and Joanne: 3rd
- Claudia and AJ: 4th
- Judge Rinder and Oksana: 5th
- Ed and Katya: 6th
Making a slight difference to the overall rankings, Louise and Kevin were bumped up to joint 1st with Danny and Oti. Ore and Joanne got a boost to 3rd, having previously been joint 4th with Claudia and AJ.
