Before I go here is a look at five things we didn't know when we got up this morning:

  2. Temporary doctors 'costing millions'

    Vicky Johnson

    BBC Look North

National Health Service bosses in our area are spending millions hiring temporary doctors to cover staff shortages.

Some are charging more than £1,000 a shift.

The government put a cap on such spending but in some hospitals we've discovered costs are rising.

While hospitals in Grimsby and Scunthorpe reduced their agency nurse bill, the cost of fill-in doctors rose to more than £1m in one month.

There's a full report on BBC Look North tonight.

They've been there almost a week.

Hull City Council say they have offered the occupants accommodation and will now begin legal proceedings to remove the protesters from the site.

Quote Message: Fundamentally, their actions are encouraging rough sleepers to remain on the street. This is totally unacceptable and we are left with no option but to instigate legal proceedings to remove the protesters from the site and city." from Hull City Council Statement

  11. Home is where the heart is

    Caroline Brockelbank

    BBC Radio Humberside

People living in care homes in our region are satisfied with the level of care they receive according to a report by Healthwatch in East Yorkshire.

Over 18 months, volunteers inspected 15 care homes across the county.

Overall inspectors found high levels of satisfaction from residents particularly on quality of care for residents with dementia and by the amount of personalisation available in most homes.

However Healthwatch also found that some homes, particularly those using older buildings, struggled with storage and decor issues.

There were also concerns regarding poor communication with other health and social care organisations.

  13. Weekend stargazers to enjoy biggest 'supermoon' since 1948

If you're up late on Sunday night you could be in for an astronomical treat - a view of the biggest "supermoon" in 68 years.

    Supermoon

On the night of the 13/14 November, the moon will come closer to Earth than at any point since 1948 .

It will appear up to 30% brighter and 14% bigger than an average full moon, according to NASA.

It will be the brightest and largest of three "supermoons" to occur in 2016. The first came on 16 October 16 with the third due on 14 December.

  14. E-cigarette complaint sparks assault

    e-cigarette

A man was assaulted by a group of men after reporting them for using an e-cigarette on a bus.

The 34-year-old was attacked after getting off the 76/77 East Riding service from Hull in Withernsea Road.

As he left the vehicle, he told the driver a group of men were using an e-cigarette and they were challenged by the driver.

It's believed four men then got off the bus at the next stop and walked back to find the victim, verbally abusing him.

The victim went into a garden and knocked on the door of a house seeking help.

However, the group followed him and assaulted him, before leaving the area after the incident on Tuesday, 4 October.
