    Goodbye and thanks for joining us on our live feed today. 

    As BBC Weather Watchers celebrates its first anniversary, lets have a look at five things we've learnt from the wonderful weather reporters out there. 

    And yes, I am a Weather Watcher...

    1. It's really easy to become a Weather Watcher, you just sign up and start uploading reports from anywhere in the country

    2. More than 130,000 people have signed up to be part of the BBC's weather community and have uploaded almost one million reports

    3. Weather Watchers across the country have captured rare weather phenomenons, such as these cloud formations in the Highlands

    4. It's also documented some of the UK's big weather stories, such at the Boxing Day floods in Yorkshire last December

    Cloud will increase through the evening with outbreaks of showery rain overnight, occasionally heavy. 

    Northerly winds will strengthen later giving an increasingly cold feel to the night.

    Here are the evening headlines for East Yorkshire & the Humber: 

    • A man from Goole has had his jail sentence extended after being convicted of indecent assault
    • Planners at East Riding Council say proposals for a glass lift to take visitors to the top of the Humber Bridge aren't suitable for the area
    • East Yorkshire's newest shopping centre has attracted more than 1.5 million visitors in the last 12 months
  4. Outbuildings targeted in Goole

    Three outbuildings were broken into in the Old Goole area overnight last weekend. 

    Humberside Police are now appealing for any information. The incidents that occured were on:

    • Percy Street where a quad bike and power tools were stolen from a garage.
    • Birch Grove where a pedal cycle was stolen from a shed.
    • Oak Avenue where a quad bike, power tools and golfing equipment were stolen from a garage.
  5. BreakingHull Kingston Rovers sign two forwards

    Hull Kingston Rovers have been boosted by the addition of two more young forwards to their 2017 squad in the shape of Kieran Moran and new arrival George Milton.

    The Robins have signed 21-year-old prop George Milton on a two-year deal from Doncaster, making him the club's fourth new signing. 

    Meanwhile, Scottish international Keiran Moran will honour the deal he signed earlier in the year, which lasts until 2018.

  6. Travel: Serious accident on A1035

    Some traffic news for those heading out around Beverley this evening. 

    A1035 Hull Bridge Road closed and queuing traffic in both directions. Diversion in operation via Beverley and Weel. 

    It's due to an accident involving two cars and an overturned vehicle.

    • Two teaching unions are warning of big cuts to school budgets in our region if the government changes funding for schools
    • £5m could be spent on a makeover for markets in Scunthorpe and Ashby to try to encourage more people to visit them
    • East Yorkshire's newest shopping centre has attracted more than 1.5 million visitors in the past 12 months
  8. Mixed thoughts over Beverley's Flemingate centre

    East Yorkshire's newest out of town shopping area opened to much fanfare this time last year.

    Beverley's Flemingate has attracted 1.5 million visitors over the past 12 months. 

    But has it lived up to the hype? Independent traders are annoyed that more cafes and smaller units have been allowed to open in the centre, designed for large national chains. 

    Some shoppers say Flemingate has been one big disappointment. I went to speak to businesses in the centre to find out more. 

  9. Weather: A chilly afternoon with some showers

  10. Hull City: 'We can win games at this level' says Mike Phelan

    Hull City's players should be motivated by a desire to avoid setting a new club record of consecutive Premier League defeats when they meet at Southampton this weekend. 

    That's according to their Head Coach Mike Phelan. 

    The Tigers have lost their last six league games.

  11. Concerns raised again over proposal for Humber Bridge development

    The chair of the Humber Bridge board says concerns have been raised over plans to build a glass lift in one of the towers.

    The structure would take visitors to the top of the bridge. The plans also include a hotel, offices and a new visitor centre. 

    The board chair Rob Waltham says they'll keep fighting to help develop the Humber Bridge.

  12. Police search for man after assault

    Police are trying to find a man (pictured) in connection with an assault in High Street, Cleethorpes just after midnight on 30 October.

    The victim required hospital treatment for cuts and bruises on his face.

  16. Concerns raised over glass lift plans for Humber Bridge

    The chair of the Humber Bridge Board says concerns have been raised over plans to build a glass lift in one of the towers. 

    The proposals would also include a business park and a hotel on the site. 

    But the board's chair says East Riding of Yorkshire Council planners have raised issues with the development.

  17. Pudsey Bear to rock Bridlington

    Come and join us for Pudsey's big night as Children In Need rocks Bridlington on Friday 18 November.

    It'll be a top night of entertainment with acts such as The Garnett Family, The Andrini Sisters, the Coastal Voices Community Choir, Driffield Town Brass Band and a few familiar faces from BBC Look North and BBC Radio Humberside. 

    And there'll be 200 young people from the Bridlington area to form the Children In Need choir.

  18. BreakingArmed robbery at village post office

    A masked gunman tried to rob a post office in an East Yorkshire village.

    It happened at Bugthorpe Post Office (pictured below) yesterday afternoon.

    A member of staff left the shop and secured himself in a different part of the building.

    After the alarm was activated the offender left the scene, it's not yet known whether anything was taken.
