Brazilian Grand Prix: Ferrari lodge intention to appeal
- Published
Ferrari have lodged an intention to appeal against a decision not to overturn a penalty given to Sebastian Vettel at the Mexican Grand Prix.
Governing body the FIA rejected on Friday Ferrari's claim that they had new evidence to present that was pertinent to the case.
Ferrari now have four days to decide whether to formally take the case to the FIA court of appeal in Paris.
The penalty for dangerous driving demoted Vettel from third to fifth.
Ferrari have refused to say on what basis they are considering lodging their appeal.
