Police have confirmed two people were arrested during Leicester's Diwali celebrations last night. 

A 53-year-old man was detained on suspicion of touching a woman inappropriately and the other was a domestic incident. 

This man was reported missing on 27 October...

Although there was a sighting of Stefan Kirk in Beaumont Leys on Friday police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

Police say they were called just after 06:30 to reports of a man with a bladed weapon causing damage to a property.

"In the interest of officer and public safety" the firearms officers were deployed.

A man was then arrested on suspicion of affray.

Hindus and cow-lovers gathered at the farm in Groby to feed the animals home-made jaggery sweets and organic fruit and vegetables... 

There was then a Vedic ceremony to honour and worship the cows, which are revered in Hindu tradition.

Well, as part of the Diwali festivities, a ceremony to respect and honour cows has taken place take at Ahimsa Farm in Groby.

An estimated 40,000 people gathered on Leicester's Golden Mile to celebrate the festival of Diwali.
