Hospitals struggling to cope with Mosul casualties

The commander of the US-led military coalition in Iraq says it could take another two months to re-capture the city of Mosul from so-called Islamic State.

The coalition is providing support to Iraqi security forces and Kurdish fighters in the offensive which began almost two months ago.

Since then the UN says 84,000 people have fled their homes, and medical teams in the city of Irbil say they are facing a disastrous level of civilian casualties.
