Nigeria: allegations of extra-judicial executions
The Nigerian Army has denied accusations from Amnesty international that its soldiers have killed more than 150 protesters who were calling for Biafran independence. In the late 1960's, the issue triggered a brutal civil war in which more than a million people were killed. Makmid Kamara of Amnesty outlined the claims, while army spokesman, Colonel SK Usman, denied there were any deaths at all. Hear them both here.
