    Nick Wilmshurst

    BBC Local Live, Leeds

That's all from us until after Christmas, when we'll return on the 28 December (or the day after Boxing Day, it's always confusing when the days stop having actual names.)

See you then for the latest news, travel, weather and sport for the whole of Yorkshire.

Have a great Christmas, and we'll see you on the other side when we're all a little bit fatter and vowing not not ever touch the brandy ever again.

Well at least until New Year's.

A Huddersfield man has been cleared of using Syria aid convoys to funnel cash to extremists in the war zone.

Two others have been convicted of the crime. The Old Bailey heard the high-profile convoys led by the Muslim community became unwitting vehicles for the plan to fund terrorism.

Charity worker Pervez Rafiq, 46, was cleared of involvement in their plans along with another man from London.

This is the first court verdict showing that some aid convoys were abused.
