  2. Pep on the back foot

Chelsea v Man City (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Simon Stone

    BBC Sport

Pep Guardiola did not look entirely comfortable during this afternoon's press conference.

The Manchester City manager did confirm Sergio Aguero has probably broken his ribs in the car accident he had in Amsterdam last night and he expressed his thankfulness the damage is not more extensive.

What Guardiola appeared to have a problem with was being interrogated about the wisdom of Aguero being in Holland in the first place.

The City boss was adamant he did not have an issue with it, but he clearly did not feel there was any reason to justify it.

Striker Tomer Hemed will be missing for Sunday’s clash, following the three-game ban that was handed to him by the FA for an incident in Albion’s narrow win against the Magpies.

Glenn Murray is back in training and Hughton hopes he will be involved at the weekend. Izzy Brown is back in contention and could make a return from a hamstring problem.

Sam Baldock is also back in training, but is still ruled out for Sunday's game.

"The fans and the cities have a lot of similarities. The accent is hard - both the Scouse and Geordie accents... I’m very bad at both.”
