So thankfully the high tides have been and gone but here's a round up of what the situation's been like along the Lincolnshire coast this evening:
Cleethorpes high tide 1830 GMT slight overtopping of seafront and near Thorpe Park (Humberstone Fitties) but nothing major.
Mablethorpe high tide 1803 GMT waves measuring 10 foot high reported at Trusthorpe but sea defences stood firm.
Skegness high tide 1846 GMT nothing major to report as the sea defences did their job.
Boston high tide 1840 GMT the River Haven was high but didn't breach the defences and the water level is receding
So that's all folks! thankfully!
There are still 20 flood warnings in place along the Lincolnshire coast and you can keep up with the latest flooding information where you are by visiting the Environment Agency website.

Sadly three- times Lakeside champion Martin 'Wolfie' Adams' bid for a fourth BDO wold title is over.
He's been beaten by fourth seed Jamie Hughes 5-4.
Wolfie, who revealed last year that he has been battling prostate cancer, had been hoping to continue a fairytale run at Frimley Green having already beaten Jeff Smith and Ryan Joyce.
Despite repeated warnings to stay away from the coast by the Environment Agency and emergency services this surfer's still decided to take to the sea in Skegness.

Man found dead at Morton Hall

A man's been found dead at Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre near Lincoln.
The 27 year old from Poland was found earlier this week.
The Home Office says the man's body was discovered in the centre on Wednesday.
An independent investigation is being carried out by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
Officials say their thoughts are with the man's family.
Morton Hall is run by the Prison Service, on behalf of UK Border Agency.
The centre holds men who are subject to deportation who require secure conditions.

There's a large building fire in the Corporation Road area of Grimsby tonight.
Humberside Fire and Rescue say there is a large amount of smoke in the area.
They are urging people living nearby to keep their windows closed and for motorists to drive carefully.

Traffic and travel: Crash causes disruption in Lincoln city centre

A crash involving two vehicles in Lincoln is causing major disruption tonight.
It's at the junction of University Bridge with Carholme Road.
Lincolnshire Police have told BBC Radio Lincolnshire it'll take at least 40 minutes for them to recover the vehicles.

Soldiers are being deployed in Skegness to persuade people not to turn up to take pictures.
100 soldiers from the Yorkshire Regiment are still in Skegness and Louth providing support to the emergency services.

The emergency services are closely monitoring the weather as tonight's predicted storm surge threatens coastal areas on the Lincolnshire coast.
Gale force winds, combined with this evening's high tides and dangerous waves, means Lincolnshire is particularly at risk.
100 soldiers have been drafted in to advise and help communities.

Machinery stolen in Brigg

Two high value scissor lifts, an amount of diesel fuel and a number of power tools have been stolen from a demolition site in Brigg.
It happened at the former Falcon Cycles premises in Bridge Street between 14:00 GMT Wednesday 11 January and 07:30 GMT Thursday 12 January.
Humberside Police are appealing for any information from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity.
