Jungyu Lee set off in June and travelled through 12 countries to get to Anfield for the Reds' Premier League game against Chelsea on Tuesday night.
He ended up watching it in a pub instead.
The club have now offered him a ticket to watch Jurgen Klopp's men take on Tottenham on Saturday.

Police investigating the death of a man killed in a shooting after going to a gym at a meat market say they want to trace a car they believe the gunman was driving.

Thomas Baker, 44, died of gunshot wounds after being shot in the head in the car park of the Phoenix gym in Prescot Road, Old Swan, on Friday.
Police believe the gunman was driving a silver VW Polo, which had its number plates obscured.
After the shooting, the car travelled down Prescot Road, Balmoral Road, Molyneux Road and Queens Road and would have driven past the North Liverpool Academy and St Domingo Vale in the direction of Everton Valley, police said.
Det Supt Mark Guinness appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact police, saying:

Crimestoppers launch campaign to tackle Liverpool gun crime
Crimestoppers has launched a campaign in Liverpool to encourage people to anonymously report information about gun crime.
It follows the fourth fatal shooting on Merseyside since April last year.
Yesterday a man was shot dead in a "cold-blooded, targeted attack" outside a chip shop in Wavertree.
From today, the Crimestoppers will be taking ad vans round the region, to try to encourage members of the communities affected by gun crime to contact them.

Her daughter's killer has never revealed where her body is.
On Friday, 'Helen's Law' will be considered in Parliament. It proposes to deny killers parole if they don't reveal where victims' remains are.

Five men arrested after Widnes drugs find
Five men have been arrested after drugs were found in Widnes.
Police raided a property in Baron Close last night and found what is believed to be class A drugs.
Three men aged 18, 51 and 41, from Widnes, a 26-year-old, from Bootle, and 27-year-old man, from Garston, have been arrested and released on bail.

Boy, 15, missing from Liverpool
A 15-year-old boy is missing from Liverpool.
Eddie Burton, from Walton, was last seen in Chirkdale Street on 14 January.
Extensive inquiries are being carried out to establish his whereabouts.
He is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slight build, with dark brown cropped hair, brown eyes and a pale freckled complexion.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Merseyrail train guards balloted for strike action
Workers on Merseyrail are to be balloted for industrial action in a dispute over the role of guards, a union has said.
The firm plans to introduce a new fleet of 52 driver-only-operated trains from 2020.
None of the permanent guards or guard managers would be forced to quit their employment, the company added.
The RMT union said 220 guards it represents would be balloted for strike action.
