Right here, right now, I'm starting the campaign to get Wayne Shaw a spot on this year's Strictly.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "We did the job. It is very different I must say on this kind of pitch. It was not an easy game at all. We have to give them credit because every error we made they took advantage of on this pitch. They played very well.

"It is basically division five and when I arrived here 20 years ago in division five they were not as fit physically as they were today. They were organised and had a huge desire. If we were not mentally prepared we would not have gone through today.

"I don't really enjoy tonight because we absolutely had to do the job and it is tricky. It is important for the confidence of the players. At Bayern we were 1-1 and then  in the second half it all went wrong so at half time today at 1-0 up it was not finished."

Ahmed Ashour We may have won the game but Sutton carried the heart of the nation and didn't disappoint.

You wonder, looking at Roarie Deacon if the game has failed him. He should be playing at a higher level, he has great quality with both feet and he was really unlucky with that shot that hit the bar.

It has been one heck of a run that started off in October. Brilliant. There were some very, very positive performances out there. The manager he said he was absolutely proud of them and that is absolutely right.

Sutton manager Paul Doswell: "The support we had has been amazing. Everyone here is a volunteer, remember that. We're not a League Two club in non-league, we're a traditional non-league club.

"Lincoln and Sutton have done our competition very proud. Best wishes to Danny and Nicky at Lincoln. Go and have your day in the sun like we have."

Sutton forward Roarie Deacon: "Arsenal have world class players, thankfully a few of them were out there against us and that is great for us."

Sutton manager Paul Doswell: "It was a dream to watch my team play against Arsenal. The quality of the team they put out showed what's at stake. I'm very very proud. 

"We were disappointed not to get a goal for the supporters here but the overriding emotion is so proud.

"This was our cup final and these players will go down in history at the end of the day."

Paul Doswell and Roarie Deacon are being interviewed on the pitch. Fans crowd around, lots on the phone, presumably telling someone that they are on the telly.

There's no stunning shock, but Sutton can be proud of their efforts. Arsenal do their job and book a quarter-final tie with Lincoln. Some fans are on the pitch. It's been quite a night.
