Severn Trent has been in touch to let us know supplies are back to normal in Long Eaton, Belper, Alfreton and Ripley.

It said in a statement: “Our teams were carrying out work connecting a customer to our water network in Derby.

"To allow us to do this work, we had to interrupt the water supply for a very short period of time which we let our customers know about. This work is now complete, with all customers water supplies back on.

“Also this afternoon, we’ve been doing some emergency work to fix a pipe on Wilmott Street, Long Eaton.

"This is now also all complete, and the road is completely clear. Although we did need to interrupt the water supply for a very short time (around an hour), we did let all customers know, and we had no calls to say anyone was affected."

  11. Your Questions: Under-promoted Arboretum?

    Gavin Bevis

    BBC Local Live

The debate continues on Facebook after Tony Gascoigne got in touch through Your Questions to ask why the city council didn't make more of a fuss about Derby Arboretum being Britain's first public park.

Steve Kennedy wrote: "The area around this beautiful park is not what it was and as such the parks reputation has declined over the years, which is a real shame.

"On the plus side efforts have been made by the police to clean the area up somewhat, there are public events on the park on a regular basis, resident artists work from the buildings within the park and there is a Friends of Arboretum Park group that meet up regularly."

Alex Scott urges you to sign up for the 2017 FA People's Cup

England player Alex Scott "would've loved the opportunity to have a competition like this when I was younger".

What's she talking about? The FA People's Cup - the country's biggest free five-a-side competition which gives you the chance to make your way to Wembley.

"When I was younger, playing in a football cage, the dream was always to play at Wembley," adds Scott.

"The FA People's Cup gives anyone the opportunity to sign up to a local team in your area. You don't have to rely on your mates.

"It's a chance to meet different people, socialise in different environments. It's more than just signing up, you can get so many benefits from it."

So what are you waiting for? Sign up for the FA People's Cup - but hurry as the deadline for entries is the 19 February!
