Rain will spread into parts of Cumbria for a time this evening, falling as snow over the hills and possibly down to lower levels in the heavier bursts. It will become dry again later in the night. Temperatures will drop to 0C (32F).

A Cumbrian business says it's difficult to see how it can cope with a four-fold increase in the business rates it pays.
Andrew Wright from Mitchells Livestock Auction Mart in Cockermouth says: "Our rateable vaulation last year was £44,000. This year's will be £136,000. We are a profitable business but we do that on a very small profit margin."
The county's chamber of commerce is warning that jobs could be lost and companies could fold because of a
revaluation in business rates.
But the government says the revaluation will help make sure rates are accurate and some businesses will save money.

Calls for changes to regulation after report criticises Cumbrian zoo
An animal rights group says that the way a south Cumbrian zoo has been regulated shows why the system needs to change.
Maddy Taylor from the Captive Animal Protection Society says: "The inspectors have had to tell them to sort the heating out, they needed to provide bedding. It's absolutely appalling. They can't even meet the most basic requirements for animals."
Barrow Council is considering whether to grant the site a new zoo licence.

Some Cumbrian firms unhappy with new business rates
BBC Radio Cumbria
A Cumbrian hotelier is warning she'll have to lay off a member of staff in order to pay for increased business rates.
Louise Dinnes from the Black Swan in Ravenstonedale in the Eden Valley was told her business rates would rise from £30,000 to £60,000 a year from next month.
Following an initial challenge, the rate was cut to £51,000.
But she says this is still too much: "In the past we've had increases but it's never been anything like this. I'll have to lose a member of staff because I don't make a lot of profit."
The government says the revaluation of business rates will help make sure they are accurate, with northern businesses saving hundreds of millions of pounds a year.

New robotic surgery equipment for Cumbrian cancer patients
John Bowness
BBC Radio Cumbria reporter
A cancer treatment centre used by patients from south Cumbria is to be equipped with new state-of-the-art robotic equipment to help doctors perform complex operations through keyhole surgery.
The Rosemere Cancer Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital will be the first place in the north of England to use the device that can be remote-controlled by surgeons.
Dr Nick Wood, a consultant surgeon at the hospital, said: "The word robot conjures up an image of a machine without a human attached. That's really the wrong image to have.
"What this is is a mixture of mechanics and computers to enhance what a surgeon can do."

People in Cumbria encouraged to plant trees
A charity says it wants to see thousands of new trees planted in Cumbria to combat disease, climate change and the risk of flooding.
The Woodland Trust is concerned at the number of solitary trees in fields and hedgerows that are being lost to new diseases like ash die-back.
It says by doing "our little bit" by planting more trees, it will in turn provide a much richer eco-system.

Animal welfare charity 'shocked' by Cumbrian zoo report
An animal welfare charity says an inspection report on a Cumbrian zoo is "by far the most serious" it's seen in decades.
The Born Free Foundation said many of the cases were "entirely preventable and completely unacceptable".
A solicitor for the zoo's founder, David Gill, said he'd been eager to hand it over to new management for some time, and that Mr Gill has stepped away from all trading and management activities connected with the zoo.
Cumbria Police says it will be running "targeted operations" to catch offenders.
In 2015 - the latest year for which figures are available - 22 people were killed and 99 seriously injured in accidents where a driver was using their phone.
