The Stranglers' JJ Burnel

Mark Radcliffe presents solo and is joined by musician, producer and songwriter JJ Burnel of The Stranglers.

Mark Radcliffe presents the show solo today, with guest J J Burnel. He's a musician, producer and songwriter, best known as the bass guitarist with the British punk rock band The Stranglers. The Stranglers formed in Guildford, Surrey in 1974 and continue to this day! Having had 23 UK top 40 singles - with hits like Peaches, No More Heroes, Always the Sun, Skin Deep - and 17 UK top albums in over forty years, J J Burnel is here to talk all about their new tour.

In other news, if you want to get involved in the show then there's The Chain. It's now over 6,000 records strong with no repeats, could your selection be next? Not only that, there's a chance to battle with your fellow workmates and family to see who can guess the Tea Time Theme Time link first, good luck!
