Wales second row Luke Charteris says he is ready to start in their Six Nations match against Ireland on Friday.

Charteris missed the first two matches against Italy and England with a broken hand but was a second-half replacement in the  29-13 defeat in Scotland.

After starting for Bath in their 24-3 defeat by Wasps on Saturday, Charteris believes he is ready to face Ireland in Cardiff six days later.

"I feel good and would give it a go," the Bath lock said.

More than 40,000 players across 178 venues took part in the first round of the 2017 FA People's Cup - the nation's biggest ever five-a-side tournament.

If found guilty and banned for the minimum three games, Ibrahimovic would miss the FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea and league games against Middlesbrough and West Brom, although he would be available for Europa League matches.

Bournemouth's next three outings are against West Ham, Swansea City and Southampton.

A little more context to the Mings and Ibrahimovic charge...

According to Mark Hughes, Arnautovic has taken team-mate Ramadan Sobhi under his wing. 

"Ramadan is making an impact and is in the team on merit. He is very level-headed, but we are excited by him. We can't get too ahead of ourselves - he is a young guy. We have progressed him at the right rate and will continue to do so."

Hughes also spoke about their next opponents in Manchester City...

A Marko Arnautovic double helped Stoke ease to victory against a struggling Middlesbrough on Saturday - Hughes appeared to be delighted with the team's performance. 

"It was a good reaction from the guys on Saturday. We acquitted ourselves really well and produced a really professional performance. 

"Marko takes as much enjoyment from creating chances as scoring - I was the exact opposite. We want him to score more goals. When Marko is playing well and scoring goals then we are a better team for that. He is a big player for us and clearly influences us."

Earlier we brought you the joyous tweets from Jack Butland who, having been out of action for 11 months with an ankle injury, has been given the all clear by his surgeon to rejoin team training. 

His manager Mark Hughes says they have been waiting for this news for a long time. 

"Hopefully we can get him playing again soon".
