UK set for worst pay squeeze 'since 19th century'

Wages are forecast to remain below pre-financial crisis levels until the early 2020s, according to the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

Its director, Paul Johnson, says that would be an almost "unprecedented" squeeze on living standards.
