Cerys Matthews presents live from the 6 Music Festival 2017 in Glasgow, joined by Stuart Murdoch from Belle and Sebastian, Julia Jacklin and the Scottish Women's Institute.

Cerys brings you the best of the 6 Music Festival By Day including live performances from our Folk Stage, featuring Holly Macve and Yorkston Thorne Khan, plus she'll be in conversation with Stuart Murdoch of Belle & Sebastian from midday.

She'll also be chatting to the Scottish Women's Institute in their centenary year and Claire and Marcus AKA The Gramophone DJs.

After Manchester, Tyneside and Bristol, this year the 6 Music Festival heads north of the border for the first time as we celebrate our alternative spirit with the great music city of Glasgow.

Over 50 artists including Depeche Mode, John Lydon, Songhoy Blues, Bonobo, Belle & Sebastian, Anna Meredith, Emma Pollock and Optimo will join us for three days of live music, DJ sets, comedy, poetry and conversation across five venues; Barrowlands, The Academy, Tramway, SWG3 and St Lukes.
