Theresa May's Brexit speech has been interpreted as a "blackmail threat" but David Davis, Brexit secretary, says she was stating the argument for getting a deal and was "not in any sense a threat". The BBC's political editor Laura Kuenssberg gives her analysis.

Thousands of EU laws on everything from workers' rights to the environment are to be scrapped or replaced with UK equivalents in a new plan. Tim Martin, CEO of Wetherspoons and a prominent Leave campaigner, says he is "relieved" to see the changes as previously it was "impossible" for people to know where UK law ends and EU law begins.
