Faulty gauge triggers flood warning
False reports of high water levels on the River Thame are thought to have been caused by a gauge fault.
The levels prompted a flood warning for the River Thame between Eythrope to Chiselhampton.
They have since been checked by the Environment Agency and found to be "normal".
The Environment Agency said: "The levels indicated last night have been attributed to a gauge fault. Property flooding is no longer expected."
South Central Ambulance Service said a man in his mid-50s sustained minor head and facial injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
