  5. Residents allowed back into fire-hit apartment block

    Kevin Stanley

    Reporter, BBC Radio Nottingham

Residents have been allowed back into their homes - and while for the most part they're in remarkably good shape, some have quite a bit of water damage.

I've spoken to a number of people whose boilers have been temporarily condemned for safety reasons, so although most have light, they may not have heat.

Fire and police investigators have been here today but so far there's no word on what caused the fire. The top two floors are still out of action, so for some it'll be a second night away from home.
