Way out in front!

The entire Kenyan women's cross country team finished ahead of the field at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.

Led by winner Irene Chepet Cheptai, Kenya dominated the senior women's race in Kampala, Uganda, securing the top SIX places.

Cheptai clocked 31:57 for the approximate 10km race to finish four seconds ahead of Olympic 10,000m fourth-placer Alice Aprot Nawowuna.

Lilian Kasait Rengeruk was a further 10 seconds behind as she secured the final individual podium place ahead of world steeplechase champion Hyvin Kiyeng Jepkemoi, defending champion Agnes Jebet Tirop and Olympic 1500m champion Faith Kipyegon.

The seventh-placed athlete was Kenyan-born, too, with Olympic steeplechase champion Ruth Jebet next over the finish line for Bahrain, one place ahead of Ethiopia's Belaynesh Oljira.
