    Nathan Turvey

A job advert is being shared on social media to find someone who can help Police and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan to hit crime targets and make sure the public is happy with the force's performance.

So while it's not a job for a would-be Batman, it seems to carry a lot of responsibility.

Police think the people in these CCTV images are linked to an assault which left a man with a broken jaw and broken nose.

Officers think the people in the images are from the Sheffield area because of their accents.

The assault happened outside Pizza Royal on Corporation Street in Chesterfield in March.

There's an appeal for help in identifying the man and woman.

  8. Big yellow bird alert in Scarborough

    Ian White

    Journalist, BBC Look North

Scarborough will welcome back a familiar face at the Spa Theatre this summer.

Entertainer and comedy legend Bernie Clifton is doing his first traditional-style 'summer season' for more than 20 years.

The 81-year-old  will perform for six weeks in a return to his roots...pretty much doing what he did when he started out.

Oh and don't worry - the ostrich is coming out of retirement too.

Some people will remember this piece of archive footage from the BBC's Seaside Special featuring Bernie back in 1977..before I was born of course....ahem..
