Swansea City have released eight players including goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel and Marvin Emnes.
Tremmel, 38, who joined the Swans from RB Salzburg in August 2010, made 52 senior appearances for the Welsh club, but saw action last season confined to the Football League Trophy.
Emnes had two loan spells before signing a deal in 2014. He made just nine Premier League starts for Swansea.
He scored four goals in 37 games on loan at Blackburn last season.
2011: Manager Carlo Ancelotti was sacked by
Chelsea shortly after their season-ending 1-0 defeat at Everton.
Only twelve months earlier, the Italian completed a Premier League and FA Cup double with the Blues following a narrow 1-0 victory over Portsmouth at Wembley.

IPC send warning to Russia

Let's see how Russia responds to this ultimatum....
A statement from the International Paralympic Committee:
"The (IPC) has
indicated that if the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) does not meet its
obligations in full by early September then there is a strong chance it will
not be allowed to enter its athletes into the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic
Winter Games.
"The comments come after the IPC Governing Board
unanimously decided last Thursday (18 May) not to lift the RPC’s suspension
following an update from the IPC taskforce, which was appointed to monitor the
fulfilment of the reinstatement criteria."
IPC president Sir Philip Craven said: "A
number of key criteria still need to be met. At the moment there are a lot of good
plans with timelines on paper, but we now need to see plans in action and
delivering concrete results.”
Note: The IPC suspended the RPC on 7 August due to its
inability to fulfil its IPC membership responsibilities and obligations, in
particular its obligation to comply with the IPC Anti-Doping Code and the World
Anti-Doping Code (to which it is also a signatory).

Hungry (for F1) like the Wolff
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says this year's intense battle with Ferrari has revived his love for Formula 1.
Mercedes dominated F1 from 2014-16 but Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel leads Lewis Hamilton by six points after five races of this season's championship.
Wolff said: "The last three years were extraordinary. But this season I have rediscovered why I love the sport.
"I love the intense competition. It means you won't be winning easily - you'll have a fierce fight."
