  1. Post update

Right, that's all from us. Keep an eye on the BBC Sport website for the rest of the reaction to today's games.

Until next time, see you later!

  2. Post update

We're about to wrap things up here but I'll point you in the direction of some more articles from today's games.

  3. 'We do not want it in the game'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard on VAR:"I think the penalty should have been a red card, he has flown at him. I don’t think he means to do it so I can understand why it is not, it is probably fair. The Son incident was a red card, he acted out and that is a red card no matter how hard."

On alleged racism:"My understanding is that there was a racist comment or gesture. I know Antonio reported it to Cesar out on the pitch. They are now talking to the officials and going through the right procedure. No matter what stadium it is in, we do not want that in the game.

  4. 'We showed great spirit'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta, speaking to MOTD: "We were coming from the international break, we didn't find the consistency to win games but we came here to play against a team in good form and we showed great spirit.

"We cannot forget where the young players were last year. They have shown great spirit and great mentality to grow. We as senior players try to help them as much as possible but I think they have showed great strength."

On alleged incident of racism: "We are told to report if any incident happens. In the game after the red card it happened. Tony came to me and said he was listening in the crowd monkey noises. I reported it to the referee.

"We have to work together to eradicate the problem. It is an issue in life and football."

  5. 'Today we were everything'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard: "It means a lot to me but it’s about the club and the fans. The fans have come here after a number of losses and they have backed us. They know we are a young team and what we are trying to achieve.

"My players showed they could fight and play against a top team, because Tottenham are a good team. Today we were everything that’s why we should be celebrating. We are not over excited but we are pleased with the performance.

"They are a major rival and it shows the players what they can do under pressure and what they need to do to survive in games, You cannot fault their commitment. poor that game. When you play with a three at the back, it’s not easy - especially here. You have to be brave and they are all that."

  6. 'The Son situation is handled badly'

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho to BBC Match of the Day: "Today was bad, we didn't start well. Chelsea started better than us. They scored from a short corner and that disappoints me. We were not focused.

"The second goal is a bad goal to concede. The penalty is a penalty, good decision by VAR.

"The Son situation was handled badly. The ref has to book Rudiger and the reaction from Son is not an aggression. Does Rudiger have broken ribs going to the hospital? Other people call it intelligent by Rudiger.

On allegations of racist behaviour from the stands: "Someone told the ref about something. He followed the protocol, stopped the game and spoke to the players. Tottenham are a very proud club and we will deal internally with that."

  7. 'It's very disappointing'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld: "I do not think we started well. We had to be solid and then we had to find a solution and we did neither. You cannot concede a corner like that. We wanted to start the second half well and quickly and then we got a red card. We killed ourselves at that point and made it difficult. It is very, very disappointing. But there are a lot of games to play over Christmas and we need to look ahead now."

On the alleged racism: "I did not know on the pitch was was happening but obviously after the game we heard more about it. It does not belong in football, I hope they find the individuals quickly because it is not good and we are all sick of it."

  8. 'Rudiger will have broken ribs, I'm sure' - Mourinho

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think in the first half they were the best team but it is one thing is to arrive at half-time losing 1-0 and another to be losing 2-0. We have to blame ourselves for both goals. We didn't defend a short corner and the second is a penalty.

"The second half was much better and then we had one player less so it was very difficult. In spite of that we had a reaction, in spite of that we had pride, in spite of that we searched for a goal which could change the state of the game. But it was not possible.

"I hope Rudiger will recover from broken ribs because he will have broken ribs for sure."

  9. Son's red card strange - Mourinho

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Tottenham Hotspur

More from Jose Mourinho on the red card for Son Heung-min: "If he does nothing and the referee immediately gives a yellow card to Rudiger then he won't have a reaction.

"But if he doesn't then you can have this sort of emotional reaction. which the referee and VAR has to analyse.

"For me football is football, the Premier League will be English football and for me that red card is a strange one.

"But I don't want to focus on that because my team lost and I have to be complimentary to my opponents because they had the better handle on the game."

  10. 'Every club is together on this situation'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Tottenham Hotspur

Jose Mourinho speaking to Sky Sports about alleged incident of racism: "I saw nothing, I saw the referee follow the protocol, he came to Andre Marriner (fourth official), he came to me and Frank Lampard and told us what was happening.

"The protocol was followed and we are one of the clubs..every club is together on this situation and of course we are disappointed."

  11. 'The team's mentality was perfect'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea goalscorer Willian: "I am happy with the two goals but the most important thing is to win the game. We did brilliant today. I think Spurs expected us to put the ball in the box for the first goal but we did not and by going short we caught them out and it worked. The team's mentality was perfect. I think now we have to keep doing the same. We cannot go up and down, we need to carry on and stay at the top of our form."

  12. 'It was a shocking night on and off the pitch'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Jermaine Jenas

Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It’s not pleasant [to hear those announcements]. Wherever I am sat, whenever there is any type of racism that goes on, it does not sit well. I would like to think that’s the same for the majority of this stadium. I think those individuals, if they were racist, will be found out and they are a minority. It was a shocking night on and off the pitch and we all hope those individuals will be dealt with accordingly.

  13. 'We need to eradicate racism'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea captain César Azpilicueta speaking after the game: "It feels very good both for us as a team but also for the fans. It’s a good result. We knew we were coming into a Tottenham team who were playing well and derby games are always so important. We fought and we played some really good football,We know that when we score just before half time it gives us better advantage. We came out tried to score a third but the team did an amazing job and it is credit to us all. "

On the alleged racism: "It is made very clear to us all that if we have heard any racist incident to report it. Tony came to me and told me he was listening to racist songs towards him so I reported it to the referee. We are very concerned and aware of this behaviour. Altogether we need to make it stop. I hope everything gets clear and we eradicate it as soon as possible. It‘s an issue not just in football but in life."

  14. How it looks at the top

It is looking good for Chelsea now at the top of the table as they put some distance between themselves and fifth-place Sheffield United.

    .
  15. 'Men against boys'

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

    Jermaine Jenas

Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea deserved their win, it could have been more than two. Spurs were nowhere near it. It felt like men against boys, every Chelsea player was on top form today and Spurs were not up to it.

Matt Kowech: On his day, Willian is a footballing entertainer. He has been silky tonight. Simply unplayable.

Tyrone: Tottenham need to sell Aurier he offers absolutely nothing defensively.

  17. FULL-TIME

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

All over and Chelsea get back to winning ways. Tottenham simply never got going.

  18. Post update

    Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

One minute remaining and Chelsea have a free kick right by the Tottenham box. This will probably be the last action of the game.
