  1. Their time again?

    .

It's been a long time since Ferrari won in Monaco - 16 years to be precise - but they are in the prime position to end their wait tomorrow.

For Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, there's plenty of thinking to do overnight but you can't completely rule the Briton out of a place on the podium, even if he is starting from 13th.

One thing is for sure, we're in for a thrilling race. We're back with build up from 11:30 BST and we'll also be doing live text coverage of Fernando Alonso in the Indy 500 later in the afternoon. A mega day of motorsport.

    Until then, goodbye.

Valtteri Bottas on Mercedes issues: "This weekend has been a bit tricky for us. We definitely lost some valuable practice time in P2.

"It was quite difficult to get a lap time in and Lewis had some problems with traffic.

"Tomorrow is the race though, and Monaco is one of the places anything can happen."

  9. 'I'm deflated'

Lewis Hamilton, who will start tomorrow's race 13th on the grid, tells Channel 4: "The opportunity was not there for me. I just struggled with the car. I don't really know what to say at the moment. I'm deflated but will keep pushing tomorrow.

"That's pretty much the weekend done. Tomorrow I will just be driving around in whatever position. I will try to get into the top 10 but it will be a nice Sunday drive I imagine."

  10. A 38-year wait

    .

It's a first Ferrari front row lockout in Monaco since 2008 and only the third since 1979. Back then, Jody Scheckter took pole position with Gilles Villeneuve second.

Scheckter went on to win the race.
