Australian PM says Trump impersonation was 'light-hearted'

The Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said that a leaked speech of him impersonating and making fun of Donald Trump was "affectionate".

Speaking to Tom Elliott on Melbourne Talk Radio 3AW, he said an address at a dinner function at Parliament House in Canberra was intended to be "light-hearted".

The audio was published by a journalist, who breached protocol at what is considered to be an off-the-record speech.
