Why are African students flocking to Chinese universities?

In the past few years, China has improved the infrastructure of more than fifty African nations, created hundreds of thousands of jobs and seen its trade with the continent mushroom into a multi-billion partnership. It's against this backdrop that China has apparently become the second most popular destination of choice for African students. In the last 15 years, their number has grown from just under two thousand to almost fifty thousand. Mikka Kabugo a Ugandan clinical medicine student at Beijing University has told BBC Newsday how he ended up in China.
