    "Let's go Heather, let's go!"

The home crowd ramp up the vocal support for Heather Watson during that tense tie-break... but it is to no avail.

A few use the match going into a decider as an excuse to scarper for a Friday night elsewhere. Not many mind.

Plenty of entertainment here for a more than half full Court One crowd which - encouragingly - includes loads of kids.

Seeing instinctive volleys, smiling players and an excited crowd must surely inspire them to pick up racquets.

It seemed as though Demoliner & Martinez Sanchez were a little nervous about playing on Centre Court to begin with but it is beginning to even out here.
